Chicken with peppers and passion fruit




Chicken with peppers and passion fruit: A recipe with tropical dyes, typical of Central America, all natural and healthy but very tasty and warm.

Simple ingredients like chicken and pepper with passion fruit to add a Latin connotation.








The ingredients for 4 servings are:

- 1 cup juice concentrated of passion fruit
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 carrots
- 4 legs chicken
- 1 pepper
- 1 onion
- 1 stalk celery
- 1 clove garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

1) In a pot, cook the chicken legs with the onion, celery, garlic clove and peppers cut into medium pieces until the meat is tender. Get the broth and add the passion fruit, flour previously dissolved in a little warm water, sliced carrots, sugar, salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.

2) Re-add the prepared chicken, cover and cook over low heat for about 20 minutes. Check the salt and pepper and serve!

This is an easy preparation, it doesn't have any oil (just a little flour and sugar) so practically all the flavors come from chicken, vegetables and of course, the passion fruit. You must try this recipe for a good dinner with your family or friends.
